mid-may newsletter

Hi Lovely Readers!

We're halfway through May and I really hope the summer's been treating you well.

Latest Content on the Blog

We've had some good, new posts on the blog; does any of them interest you?

From sociology to art history, ages as far back as the time of the Greek legends, to the modern age: all intellectually stimulating essays to spend some of your time reading.

I'm currently reading Sunburn by Chloe Michelle Howarth, (listen to it on Audible) and I'm immensely impressed by this author, I definitely think more people should know about her. This book features thus in this little collection of 3 melancholic coming-of-age books that will make your heart go shattering.

It is my birthday month, May, did you know? In celebration, we did a book haul on the first Sunday on the month, and got a bunch of interesting, amazing books to spend this summer reading. This is the post where I tell you about those books.

The Summer Hikaru Died is such a heartbreaking manga to read. Have you seen the anime yet? In this post I review this first manga I've ever read (and I've only got fangirl comments to make.)

Long, detailed, therapeutic, this complete guide on beginning to journal is filled with prompts that seek to make it easier for you to pick up your journal and pen and begin having a conversation with yourself.

Popular Content on the Blog

Did you know about the three posts on the blog that are trending currently?

Summer vibes and surrealistic poetry, this compilation is the perfect one to read right now before May passes only to return next year.

This might as well be the most favourite (and also more personal) post I've ever written on this blog. And that is saying a lot.

Obviously you cannot always read 300-pages long novels on growing up. The good thing is, these poems about growing up remain as impactful too.
